Sam Gollub, MA,
LMFT-Associate

(Supervised by Dr. Alycia DeGraff, LMFT-Supervisor)

Hi! I'm Sam, thanks for checking out my profile. I believe your experience is the key to effective therapy. So I strive to create a safe and empathetic space for you to heal and grow. With curiosity and compassion, we’ll explore your emotions and relational patterns together. I know therapy isn’t always easy. I’ll challenge you to take steps towards growth and I hope you challenge me right back. This back and forth inspires the progress we’ll make.

My Practice

I specialize in therapy with families of all kinds. Whether couples who feel stuck in the same old fights or parents navigating the rigors of childrearing, families can bring out their healthiest dynamics through therapy. When we can show up as our full and authentic selves, healing and relational repair can take place. With that in mind, I’ll tailor our sessions to your specific needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based practices including Symbolic Experiential Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Attachment Theory.

My Story

Hailing from a small town outside of Boston, I studied Anthropology and French at Elon University in North Carolina before receiving my Masters in Counseling from St. Edward’s University. I have extensive experience working with children ages five and up and have had the distinct privilege of helping adults work through life’s challenges using therapy. Outside of my work, I’m usually lost in music, a good book, out hiking, or experimenting in my kitchen.
